Altify Software Founder and CTO named Philly Top IT Pro for 2013
Who you gonna call? Presenting the Top IT Pro Awards
The CIO job description hardly existed 15 years ago; today, technology managers are at the top of the organizational chart and serve as indispensable strategic advisors.
They have their head in the cloud, their eye on engagement, and they’re constantly innovating to capture competitive advantage while defending their networks from outside threats. It’s a big job, and it deserves a big award.
The Philadelphia Business Journal is pleased to present the 16 inaugural winners of the Top IT Pros Awards, a new program dedicated to the tech professionals who keep their companies on the cutting edge.
The honorees are listed below.
“These individuals have each brought transformative products, processes or services to their organizations,” said Sonja Sherwood, editor in charge of special publications and social engagement. “Some are running sophisticated systems and some are bringing digital sophistication to previously analog industries. It’s an interesting mix and it shows how crucial tech expertise is to organizational success.”
The top-ranked individual in each category will be revealed at an awards event on May 9 at the University of the Sciences McNeil Technology & Science Center, sponsored by Comcast Business Class and Robert Half Technology. The event will feature a keynote presentation by Joel Headley, Google’s local and geo products specialist.
